This project encompassed the structural concrete scope for the “How to Train Your Dragon” attraction at Universal Epic Universe, featuring engineered foundations and retaining walls supporting themed structures, ride platforms, and water elements. The work included cast-in-place concrete footings, structural slabs, elevated decks, and load-bearing walls strategically designed to integrate with immersive ride systems and rockwork. Complex lagoon shaping was achieved using reinforced concrete and structural walls with waterproofing and drainage systems to support continuous water movement and guest interactivity. Multiple retaining wall systems were constructed to manage elevation changes and provide hidden support for back-of-house utilities and embedded MEP infrastructure. Precision layout, heavy coordination with ride vendors, and architectural theming requirements made this a structurally intensive and highly detailed scope.
