This project involved the complete structural concrete scope for the new Valencia College CIT Building, including shallow spread footings, reinforced slab-on-grade, and an intricate network of grade beams supporting the multi-level structure. The exterior envelope features tilt-up concrete wall panels integrated with architectural reveals and form liner finishes to meet the campus’s aesthetic standards. Elevated structural decks were formed and poured with cast-in-place concrete, including reinforced concrete stairs and integral elevator cores. Site concrete included sidewalks, ramps, and loading zones, coordinated to align with architectural flow and ADA compliance. Coordination with mechanical and electrical trades was critical to embedments, penetrations, and floor depressions necessary for the building’s technical lab and classroom functions.
